Do you have any hotel discounts?
Yes, we do! Once our room block is available, we’ll post it on our Travel page.
Is there parking?
If you are driving to Rogue Con 23, you will find ample street and around the Downtown Waco area and at the specific venues being used for the event. In addition, the City of Waco provides a secure parking garage at 4th and Franklin Ave.
What about accessibility?
Rogue Con 23 strives to create an inclusive and friendly environment for all of its attendees. We are happy to provide a variety of services to help you enjoy your experience!
Is there a security check?
Yes, there is. We will have security checks at each location during the event. You must display your badge in order to enter.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. In keeping with our family-friendly atmosphere, and for health and safety reasons, RC23 enforces a dress code. Proper attire must be worn at all times, including shirts and appropriate footwear. Clothing with rude, vulgar, or offensive language or graphics is not permitted at any time. Admission to RC23 may be denied if clothing is deemed by RC23 management to be inappropriate.
Can I wear a costume?
Absolutely! Rogue Con 23 encourages costumes and cosplay. Attendees who do not follow these guidelines may be required to modify their costumes, refused entry, or asked to leave.
Can I bring food?
You’re welcome to bring food to the event. Because this convention is spread across 6 different venues in Downtown Waco, we encourage our attendees to purchase food at the various restaurants within walking distance. All food must be eaten outside the venues unless you’re at Texas Music Café or Nexus Esports venues.
Can I take photos?
Photography is allowed, but not in high traffic areas. This includes near doors, escalators, and in busy hallways. Please move to a designated photography area to take photos. Inappropriate photography will be subject to our harassment policy.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not permitted inside the RC23 venues, with the exception of guide, signal, or service animals (as defined by state and local laws).
Will there be a long line?
Yes and no. As with any event with a large attendance, you may have to wait in line at times. Rest assured we are always working to keep those lines moving quickly and efficiently as possible.
What is the harassment policy?
Rogue Con 23 is a safe place. This means we expect it to be a safe environment for fans of any ethnicity, creed, religious background, political background, gender, gender identity, sexual identity, sexual orientation, fandom, etc. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. This includes, but is not limited to: physical assault, verbal harassment, sexual harassment, stalking, unwanted physical contact, unwanted advances, or inappropriate photography.
Harassment is defined by the victim. If it is determined–either by observation or by complaint–that an individual or group has harassed another attendee, any or all of the following things may occur. That individual or group may be:
- Warned to cease and desist;
- Asked to leave the convention, or;
- Banned from the convention for a period of time to be determined by staff.
For your own safety, if you feel that you are being harassed please report your problems to us before anyone else. If you cannot find a staff, crew, or volunteer member to assist you, please go to the information desks located near registration or near the entrance of the exhibition floor. Please report to us before taking matters into your own hands (such as personally confronting the aggressor or posting on social media).
What is the weapons policy?
Only simulated or costume weapons are allowed at Rogue Con 23 as part of your costume. No real swords, bats, shields, or heavy staffs are allowed.
